Dashabooja decorates a Chicago billiard room

Dashabooja was finally acquired by a private collector in Chicago, Illinois, who used it as an object d’art in his billiard room. When Chester Gleeson’s mansion was destroyed by fire in 1951, no trace of the statue was found in the ashes.

(Interestingly, this is the only known photograph of Dashabooja, all the other extant images being artists’ renderings.)
